ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to further strengthen economic relations and expand cooperation in the energy sector.
The understanding was reached during a meeting between Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb, Federal Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari, and Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan.
The meeting focused on improving Pakistan, Saudi Arabia economic cooperation and exploring new opportunities in the energy sector.
According to officials, both sides agreed to continue consultations and maintain close coordination on matters of mutual interest. They also discussed ways to increase collaboration in key areas to support future economic growth.
The ministers expressed satisfaction with the growing partnership between the two countries and reaffirmed their commitment to deepening economic and energy cooperation through continued engagement.
