KARACHI: Sindh Assembly member Naeem Ahmed Kharl passed away in Karachi on Sunday after suffering from a liver related illness.
He had been receiving medical treatment for some time before his death. His passing has saddened many people across Sindh and the country. After his death, arrangements were made to transport his body from Karachi to his hometown of Khairpur.
Family members said that funeral prayers and burial will take place there in the presence of relatives, friends, and supporters. Naeem Ahmed Kharl was elected to the Sindh Assembly from constituency PS-30 on a Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) ticket.
He was known as an experienced and dedicated politician. During his long political career, he served as a member of the Sindh Assembly five times. As a result, he earned respect from many people in his constituency and within his party. He remained active in public affairs and worked closely with local communities.
Moreover, he played an important role in addressing issues faced by residents in his area. Following the news of his death, political leaders from different parties expressed deep sorrow and grief.
