Twitter is planning to introduce another reaction “Hmm” for the posts. Previously it was only “heart” react, which hardly covers the range of reactions.
Facebook has additionally given reactions beyond its popular “Thumbs Up” emoji, but the fixed set still lacked the much-requested “Thumbs Down.” Facebook has Sad, Angry, and afterward “Caring” reactions that indicate negative emotions. Rather than disagreement, they are used to convey sympathy for the author. Facebook has long stated how a Thumbs Down emoji would simply encourage negativity, and it has kept to that logic ever since.
Jane Manchun Wong, known for her exact leaks on new social media. He disclosed some of the emoticons that Twitter has been considering adding to its list. This includes the Thumbs Down or Dislike emoji, as well as others.
Wong is back with what appears to be the final set being tested. it does not include disliking tweets. Although the emojis themselves have not yet been finalized. It does feature “Sad” and “Cheer” emojis, which may be similar to Facebook’s “Care” emoji, as well as a “Hmm” emoji, which is certainly not commonly used in the comparison.

This could change before the final set is released, which also lacks a release date. It may not be a major issue right now, but it might help make Twitter feel more expressive.
