ISLAMABADThe Saudi foreign minister is expected to visit to Pakistan on Thursday.

According to the details, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud will hold talks with Pakistani leadership. This would be his maiden visit to Pakistan, during which the exchange of views would cover bilateral matters and regional issues of mutual interest.

It may be mentioned that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy a deep-rooted and longstanding fraternal relationship.

The two countries are committed to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in all fields.

Frequent high-level visits are a key feature of the relationship and serve to further deepen and broaden mutual collaboration.

Recep Erdogan says Pakistan avoids KL Summit under economic pressure

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued economic pressure to Pakistan to withdrawing from a gathering of leaders from many Islamic nations in Malaysia.

The four-day conference, which opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to address some of the Islamic world’s important issues, was avoided by a handful of countries including Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
