Coronavirus: Shops to remain shut from 8 PM to 8 AM in Karachi

Nasir Hussain Shah Information Minister Sindh  on Wednesday announced an “effective lockdown” across the city whereby all shops, excluding medical stores, will remain closed from 8 pm to 8 am to prevent spread of Coronavirus.

During this time (8 pm to 8 am), all shops, including groceries, will remain shut, Nasir Hussain Shah added. However hospitals and medical stores can continue operating for 34 hours.

The Information minister said CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah had directed the banks to keep their key branches open only to facilitate their customers.
