Indian police were investigating an Instagram chat room on Tuesday (May 5) that talked about the gang rape of school girls.

According to the details, An Instagram chat group called “bois locker room” was on the top trend of Twitter in India. Many social media users post the screenshots of the chat. The conversation is mostly about sexism, victim blaming and women.

Many social media users have also shared their opinion and frustration on this matter.

It is to be noted that sexual violence against women has become very common and the biggest problem in India since an incident of gang rape and murder happened in New Delhi in 2012.

Deputy Commissioner of police in the Delhi Police’s cybercrime unit, Anyesh Roy said, we have identified a boy with the help of online information and our technical investigation team.

He further told media that they have handed over him to his parents after the investigation and his phone has seized.

India rape victim died after being alight by a gang

Earlier, India rape victim who was set on fire by alleged rapist along with gang of men has died in hospital.

According to the details, a 23-year-old woman died yesterday in New delhi hospital due to cardiac arrest during treatment, say doctor treating her.

The victim was alight when she was on her way to board a train in Unnao district of northern Uttar Pradesh state to attend a court hearing on Thursday over her rape when she was doused with kerosene and set on fire, according to police.
