Sindh Assembly members discuss Bollywood movie “Nayak”

During the debate on the delicate and sensitive situation like the Coronanvirus pandemic in the Sindh Legislative Assembly, instead of positive criticism and useful suggestions from the members of the Provincial Assembly, accusations and lack of seriousness were shown against each other even today.

According to details, the Bollywood film “Nayak” was discussed in the Sindh Assembly session.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Sindh Assembly Arsalan Taj has called Sindh Chief Minister Anil Kapoor.

He further said that Anil Kapoor was seen in action in Sindh during the Coronavirus. Today, the same performance will be repeated.

On this occasion, Transport Minister Owais Qadir Shah, while replying from to him, said that Amrish Puri also had a role in the film.

Shah also said that Tell me who Amrish Puri is, which caused laughter in the House.

Earlier, The novel coronavirus cases in Sindh have topped 31,000 after 1,439 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that 5,454 tests were conducted, out of which 1,439 came back positive, taking the tally of confirmed cases to 31,086.

The province has also reported 23 more deaths, taking the total fatalities to 526. The chief minister said that 358 patients are in critical condition while 64 are on ventilators. He added that 953 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.
