The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of Intermediate Science (HSSC part 2) Pre-Medical Group Annual Examinations for 2020.

According to the details, Chairman Interboard Prof. Inam Ahmed said that 25321 candidates were registered in the pre-medical group examinations while 25297 candidates were declared successful thus the success rate was 99.91%. Only one candidate registered in the medical technology examinations and passed in C grade.

He said that due to COVID-19, examinations were not held this year but following the government’s policy of promoting students, all students were given marks in Class XII papers as per the marks obtained in Class XI as well as Class XII. Three per cent extra marks are also given to the students.

Explaining the results, Shujaat Hashmi said that 1631 candidates of A1 grade, 3534 A grade, 4309 B grade, 4165 C grade, 7624 D grade, 3965 E grade have appeared in the annual examinations of Intermediate Science Pre-Medical Group for 2020.

Remember that this year students have not been given positions as per the promotion policy. The results have been uploaded on the Board’s website www.biek.edu.pk immediately after the announcement. Candidates can also view their total numbers on the official Android app of the Board of Higher Secondary Education Karachi. This Android app can be installed on mobile by searching for BIEK on Google Play Store.
