Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil Sheikh was on Sunday admitted to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in Karachi.

Haleem Adil, who in prison, was shifted to the hospital after he complained of chest pain.

PTI Karachi chapter leader Raja Azhar reached NICVD and blamed jail authorities for not providing better facilities to the PTI leader.

“Haleem Adil was tortured badly by gang-war goons after she shifted to jail on judicial remand,” claimed Raja Azhar.

PTI Karachi chapter today announced to hold demonstrations in different parts of Sindh to protest the arrest of its MPA Haleem Adil Sheikh and other party activists.

Earlier, a case had been registered against Haleem Adil Sheikh under terrorism charges and aerial firing.

Sheikh will be produced before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) today, said the police.

It may be recalled the election commission took strict action against Sheikh for violating the code of conduct in the PS-88 constituency during by elections.

Haleem Adil Sheikh should be expelled from the constituency for walking around with official protocol and weapons, added the EC.
