According to the reports, Chinese tech giant Huawei has launched its mobile services to compete with Android Mobile Services which the company was required to remove from its Android fork EMUI after the US government imposed sanctions on the company.

Due to the US-China trade war, the tech giant faced sanctions regarding Google Play Services in its devices and semi-conductors purchasing from US-based companies.

The tech giant later exposed that the service has been in development for quite some time but the sudden ban made the company fast track the process.

The company revealed that it collected a total sales income of 891.4 billion yuan worldwide last year. Surprisingly, this represents a 3.8% revenue increase year-on-year. The tech giant then added that in 2020, HMS has become the world’s third-largest mobile application ecosystem.
