Canva, the $40 billion graphic design platform, is set to go all in with its idea of bringing in a video editing software.
The video editing software has decided upon offering its users the option to break down a video into smaller clips, and trim them as per their choice. Furthermore, there will be options to manage the audio tracks and a feature to preview the video while editing.
In addition to the aforementioned scene-focused interface, Canva is also offering video templates, animations and a transitioning feature.
The photo editing app has added its video software as part of the company’s free tier.
Canva has also announced to double its workforce in the next year. It is expected that the video software will go big, targeting its market from B2B to B2C. Moreover, the company is on track to exceed revenue of $1 billion, in the first year of its launch, i.e. 2021.
