WhatsApp has been releasing several features for Android and iOS users, and the app is getting improved from time to time. Recently, according to WABetaInfo, the social media platform is working on a new feature for voice recording.
The latest news suggests that the new feature will allow users to pause voice recording in between. This feature can be useful as it will not force you to stop and record a new voice note.
As seen in the video, after pausing the recording there will be a record button, that, after tapping, will resume the same recording.
The new feature was spotted during the development of WhatsApp for iOS. The company is working on the feature for the Android beta version too.

It has some great features including WhatsApp Web, group video calls, payment features in few selected markets, and more. Now, WhatsApp is currently working on a cashback feature too.
The new feature to be available in selected markets only
The new development was spotted on the WABetaInfo website. The new cashback feature will be only available in the markets where the payment feature already exists.
Currently, P2P payments through the social media platform are only available in Brazil and India.
The cashback feature is available in the beta version of the app in which a user can get back a tiny fraction of money they send as cashback.
