Aiming at their arch-rival Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar alleged on Saturday that party supremo Nawaz Sharif wants a “judiciary that issues verdicts on the instructions issued phone”.

“[Former prime minister] Nawaz Sharif wants a judiciary that issues verdict after taking instructions on the phone,” claimed Asad Umar in a tweet.

The minister alleged that the PML-N had issues with the judiciary and the military as they are unwilling to ignore the Constitution and help the party.

“He [Nawaz] and his facilitators are ready to use any tactics to put pressure on the institutions, no matter how much the country suffers,” claimed Umar.

The ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the PML-N have been involved in a war of words ever since an audio clip allegedly of former chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar was leaked.

Nisar in the audio clip told an unidentified man that he purportedly passed instructions to sentence former prime minister Nawaz Sharif along with his daughter, Maryam Nawaz, at the behest of some ‘institutions’.

The former chief justice has already termed the alleged leaked audio clip as “fabricated”. The same notion was also promoted by the ruling PTI.
