The latest Fitrana 2022, Sadaqat-ul-Fitr has been declared

The Fitrana 2022 in Pakistan has been declared, The minimum amount of Zakat al-Fitr (Fitrana) has been fixed at Rs. 170 per person by the former Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman, Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman, reportedly.

One of the wisdoms of Sadaqat-ul-Fitr is that it is for thanking to of Allah Almighty for his countless blessings that He has given us the blessed month of Ramadan, and enabled us to fast, stay up and perform our worship.

Those who do not fast due to travel or illness or due to negligence, if they have the syllabus, then Sadaqat al-Fitr is also obligatory on them.

Sadaqat-ul-Fitr is obligatory after the sighting of Eid moon and its time lasts till Eid prayers. The best time to pay it is before going for Eid prayers on the morning of Eid.

Every year the syllabus of Sadaqat-ul-Fitr i.e. its value is different.

Darul Iftaa, Farooqia University, Karachi has issued a statement in this regard, in which Karachi and its suburbs have also been mentioned.

According to the declaration, Sadaqat-ul-Fitr can be paid at any price. It is important that the one who has been blessed with financial abundance by Allah should pay Sadaqat-ul-Fitr in view of his financial status.

According to Mufti Muneeb, the minimum amount was based on the price of flour, which is Rs. 170 for 2 kg. Similarly, the amount according to the prices of barley and dates is Rs. 480 Rs. 1,600, respectively. For raisins, the amount is Rs. 2,800, but for second-class raisins, the amount is Rs. 2,200 per head.

This year has seen an increase in the price of Fitra compared to last year, which is definitely an effect of inflation.

Remember that sadaqat al-fitr is obligatory on every human being, even on a child who is born before the Eid prayers.
