Following a “racially motivated” mass massacre at a US supermarket, Joe Biden has urged all Americans to resist the “poison” of white supremacy.

After the tragic attack in and around the shop in Buffalo, the US president and first wife paid their condolences at a makeshift monument.

Mr. Biden and his wife Jill visited with the relatives of the ten black victims, as well as first responders and local politicians.

The pair left a floral bouquet to the memorial of blooms, candles, and condolence letters outside the Tops shop in New York state.

Three additional people were injured in last Saturday’s “racially motivated” atrocity, according to authorities.

Mr Biden blasted the “poison” of white supremacy in a speech in Buffalo, saying, “In America, evil will not prevail, I guarantee you.” Hatred will not triumph, and white supremacy will not have the final say.”

“Now is the moment for people of all colours and backgrounds to stand up as a majority in America and reject white supremacy,” he continued.

The president also mentioned recent mass shootings in Charleston, South Carolina, El Paso, Texas, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Dallas, Texas.

“These actions in these hate-filled attacks reflect the ideas of a nasty minority.”

We cannot let them misrepresent America, the true America. We cannot let them ruin the nation’s essence.”
On Saturday, a young man armed with an assault weapon attacked black people in the worst racist incident in the United States since Vice President Joe Biden entered office in 2021.

The incident is being investigated as an act of “violent extremism” motivated by racial hatred, according to authorities.

According to Mr. Biden, the gunman was motivated by “hatred that the media and politics, the internet has radicalised furious alienated, lost, and lonely folks into wrongly believing that they would be supplanted… by people who don’t look like them.”

Replacement theory is a racist ideology that claims white people are being “replaced” on purpose through immigration.

Payton Gendron, 18, was arrested and charged with murder after being suspected of being a white nationalist. He has entered a not guilty plea.

Gendron is said to have written an anti-Semitic and racist internet rant before the shooting.
