The Pakistan Meteorological Department anticipates heavy rainfall and isolated hailstorms in Lahore and select parts of Punjab on Thursday and Friday.

A westerly wave is currently enveloping much of Balochistan and is forecasted to reach northern Pakistan by Thursday.

The Pothohar region, along with Murree, Galyat, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Multan, Kot Addu, Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan, Sadiqabad, Khanpur, Bahawalpur, and Bahawalnagar, is expected to witness rain, wind, and thunderstorms on Wednesday night, while other areas of the province will experience dry weather.

Rain, wind, thunderstorms, and isolated hailstorms are predicted across various areas from Thursday to Friday, including Murree, Galyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Mianwali, Pakpattan, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Bhakkar, Layyah, Multan, Kot Addu, Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan, Sadiqabad, Khanpur, Bahawalpur, and Bahawalnagar.

Lahore’s maximum temperatures are expected to range from 30 to 32 degrees Celsius on Thursday and slightly cooler at 28 to 30 degrees Celsius on Friday.

In the last 24 hours, most districts of the province experienced dry weather. Sargodha recorded the highest temperature at 36 degrees Celsius, with an evening relative humidity of 39 percent.

In Lahore, the maximum temperature reached 34 degrees Celsius, with an evening relative humidity of 20 percent.
