ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).
According to the notification, domestic LPG cylinder price has been increased by Rs 86.28 from October 1.
The price of LPG per kg has been increased by Rs 7.31, after which the price of LPG per kg has been fixed at Rs 251.30 for October.
According to the notification, the price of 11.8 kg domestic cylinder of LPG has increased to Rs 2965. 38 for October.
Earlier, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has taken notice of the issue of mixing carbon dioxide in Liquefied petroleum gas(LPG).
The issue of adding carbon dioxide in LPG was taken into consideration in the meeting chaired by Chairman Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Masroor Khan.
According to the spokesperson of OGRA, there were reports of carbon dioxide being mixed with LPG in Punoaqal, the assistant commissioner of Pano Aqil, conducted raids at 4 places and sealed all the places.
OGRA spokesperson, an FIR has been registered against the people involved in this illegal and dangerous practice, OGRA’s enforcement team has inspected the LPG sites in Pano Aqil.
