Sindh to launch 4th phase of School Deworming Campaign from Oct 27

KARACHI: The fourth phase of the school deworming (de-worming) campaign for students will commence across Karachi on October 27 and continue till November 1, 2025, under a joint initiative of the Sindh Health and Education Departments.

According to officials, free medicines will be provided to school-going children aged 2 to 14 years, while girls aged 15 to 18 years have also been included in the latest phase of the campaign.

The Sindh Health Department has finalized all arrangements for the drive, while private school administrations have been directed to extend full cooperation and ensure the campaign details are communicated to all students.

During the campaign, trained health staff will visit schools to administer deworming tablets.

So far, three phases of the campaign have been successfully completed in the Karachi Division, benefitting over 11.6 million children.
