Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani demands a joint session of parliament to be held to discuss Kashmir issue.

According to the details, chairman senate has said that international community must take notice upon Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.

Human rights violations, ceasefire violations along Line of Control (LOC) and using cluster toy ammunition targeting civilian population are violations of Geneva Convention, he added.

The whole nation stands with Kashmir on their right of self-determination. A joint session must be held to raise the Indian atrocities on international forums, Sadiq Sanjrani added.

Chairman Senate further said that whole nation stands beside armed forces in defending homeland and Kashmir issue must be resolved.

Chairman Senate demands a joint session to discuss Kashmir issue for which request has been forwarded to President Arif Alvi.

Previously, Indian army targeted civilian population along Line of Control (LOC) with cluster ammunition.

Use of such ammunition is the violation of Geneva Convention and the international laws.

According to the Inter service public relations (ISPR), Indian Army used cluster bombs to target civilian population along LoC on July 30 and 31 in which two children were martyred and 11 civilians were injured.

It should be noted that the Cluster bomb causes more destruction than the mines.
