A University student was killed by firing on resistance during looting in Gulshan e Iqbal near Mochi Mor here on Thursday.

Police said, Misbah, a student was waiting for university bus with her father.

The suspects then suddenly came and tried to rob them and during this they shot the girl and ran away.

Police also said that a girl was injured and shifted to hospital immediately, later she died.

The incident took place at 7:00 in the morning when she was on her way to the university.

According to police the girl is identified as 22 year old Misbah, a student of Hamdard University.

Police also cleared that those 2 suspects were on motorbike, one of them shot.

Misbah was transferred to the nearest hospital but unfortunately she didn’t survive.

The Medical student, Misbah was a resident of Gulshan e Iqbal, Police Sources said.

Inspector General (IG) Sindh Dr Syed Kalim Imam has taken the notice of the case which happened in Gulshan e Iqbal, Karachi.

IG Sindh asked Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) East to submit the detailed report of this case soon.

IG Sindh also demanded to catch the criminals soon with the help of evidence and statements which were recorded on the location.
