Rawalpindi police arrested an accomplice of the leader of an international child pornography gang Sohail Ayaz.

According to details, member of an international group who sexually abused children and upload their videos on dark web, got arrested from Rawalpindi.

CCPO Faisal Rana said the law enforcement agencies arrested Khurram who is an accomplice of Sohail and also recovered another abducted child.

Sohail Ayaz kidnapped a 12-year-old boy and kept him for two months. He then sent the child to another member of his gang where they both raped the child several times, CCPO added.

Police official said Ayaz was also a drug dealer. He sold ice and hashish.

Sohail Ayaz was arrested on 12 November Tuesday after a woman filed a complaint against him for kidnapping her 13-year-old son.

Further investigation revealed that he is the leader of an international child pornography gang who sexually abused children and sell their videos on dark web.

According to the CCPO Rawalpindi police, Sohail was most wanted in multiple sexual abuse cases, he also confessed to live-streaming sexual abuse of 30 children in Pakistan, and uploading their videos on the Dark Web.

According to sources, Sohail Ayaz, has also got arrested in England and served jail terms there for the same crime.

He was later deported from the England to Italy where he has also faced trials in Italy under similar charges and was subsequently deported.

According to the police 46-year-old Sohail Ayaz is a chartered accountant by profession and worked at a government department in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Total of three cases are now registered against Ayaz at the Rawat police station.

Police has also announced to register separate FIR for every child Ayaz has been accused of raping.
