Nawaz Sharif’s health is improving, says Dr. Adnan

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s health condition is improving and platelets count is increasing, said his personal physician Doctor Adnan Malik here on Friday.

In an informal talk to media, Dr. Adnan said the medical board has started heart medication of the erstwhile premier owing to the rise in platelets.

The physician said Nawaz Sharif is also suffering from kidney problem and undergoing its treatment.

He appealed all to pray for the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo’s health.

Earlier, Islamabad High Court (IHC) heard former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s request for a suspension on medical grounds in Al-Azizia Reference.

Mian Nawaz’s interim bail on medical grounds ended on Tuesday.

Nawaz Sharif and the opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif’s lawyers in the National Assembly filed petitions seeking exemption from their presence during the hearing today.

According to details, Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar and Nawaz Sharif’s personal doctor Dr. Adnan had been directed to appear before the court at 1.30pm for further proceedings in the case.

Fresh medical reports of the former PM were also be submitted in the court.
