Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said in a press conference that coronavirus can be treated by Panadol tablets.

She also said that 78 cases have been confirmed in Punjab, of which 64 were tests were conducted by the public hospitals and 15 by private hospitals.

She clarified, The total won’t add up because one patient has been tested by both.

According to the details, She remarked that the government is taking all necessary precaution for the treatment of the virus. People with confirmed cases have been shifted to isolated centers.

She also said that five serious cases in Dera Ghazi Khan have been shifted to the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital, four people are being treated in Lahore’s Mayo Hospital and two in Gujrat. They have all been isolated.

Punjab adopts preventive measures against hazards of nCoV-19

Earlier on March 11, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar chaired an emergency meeting in which situation arising due to nCoV-19 as well as preventive and precautionary measures to cope up with it were being reviewed today (Tuesday).

According to the press release, it was also decided during the meeting to make preventive measures more effective in order to save the people of the province from the dangers of coronavirus. Usman Buzdar while addressing the participants directed that every step should be undertaken so as to make the screening mechanism of passengers arriving from abroad at the airports foolproof.
