The Sindh government has taken the proactive decision to convert Karachi’s Expo Center into a 10,000-bed isolation centre as the province ramps up its efforts to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

According to the details, the development comes after the total number of positive coronavirus cases in the province rose to 213. The facilities, authorities said, are being constructed in Karachi, Jamshoro’s Nooribabad Industrial Area, Nawabshah, and Larkana.

The official twitter of Chief Minister House Sindh also confirmed this and said that they converting Expo center Karachi into isolation centre.

Sindh govt releases video of Sukkur quarantine center

Earlier, Adviser to Chief Minister of Sindh on information Senator Murtaza Wahab shared a video of Sukkur quarantine center which Sindh government has established to accommodate pilgrims.

Murtaza Wahab shared a video on his Twitter account and wrote “this is the quarantine facility set up by Sindh Govt for taking care of Zaaireen coming from Taaftaan border.”

This facility can cater to atleast 2024 individuals. One can see that the place is properly walled & secured. We are trying our best safeguard our people from COVID-19.
