Pakistan Army soldier embraced martyrdom as Indian Army has resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation of sectors along line of control.

Media’s Military Wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday Pakistan Army soldier embraced martyrdom as Indian Army has resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation of sectors along line of control.

ISPR said Indian Army has resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in Kailer and Rakhchikri sectors along LoC.

In Kailer Sector, Indian troops targeted Pakistan Army posts with automatic and heavy weapons. However, Pakistan Army responded effectively resulting in heavy losses to Indian troops.

During exchange of intense fire, 34 years Lance Naik Ali Baz, resident of District Karak, embraced shahadat.

In Rakchikri Sector, Indian Army troops deliberately targeted civilian population in which 16 year old girl and a 52 woman were martyred while a 10 years boy and 55 years woman got injured due to indiscriminate fire in Kirni village.

COAS visits LoC

Earlier Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited forward troops along the Line of Control (LOC) and briefed about latest situation. Indian troops’ frequent Cease Fire Violations deliberately targeting innocent civilians along LOC and Pakistan Army’s response.

ISPR said  appreciating operational preparedness and high morale of troops, COAS lauded officers and men for continued vigilance and professionalism.

COAS stated blatant atrocities by Indian occupation forces on innocent Kashmiris & unethical targeting of civil population in AJ& K is unacceptable.

Moreover Indian provocations are a threat to regional peace and stability, COAS emphasised.

Indian Army shall always get befitting response to Cease Fire Violations. Pakistan Army shall protect innocent civilians along LOC and defend honour, dignity & territorial integrity of motherland at all costs, COAS reiterated.

COAS also appreciated the formation for strict adherence to COVID protocols and proactive assistance to Govt of AJ&K in fighting Corona. Army will continue to support National effort against pandemic, COAS concluded.

Furthermore Corps Commander Rawalpindi Corps, Lieutenant General Azhar Abbas received COAS at the LOC.
