Fawad Chaudhry reveals Eid-ul-Adha date

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry revealed that the Muslims of Pakistan will celebrate Eid-ul-Adha on 31st July 2020. He announced the date on his Twitter account.

Chaudhry added that On 21st July ZilHaj moon will also be sighted in Karachi.

Eid-ul-Adha, also known as Eid-e-Qurban or Baqar Eid, falls into the Islamic lunar calendar on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, which lasts three days.

The dates in the international (Gregorian) calendar differ from year to year, changing about 11 days earlier each year.
