Punjab government has announced SOPs for the reopening of cinemas and theatres. Secretary Primary and Secondary health care have issued the notification regarding the SOPs.

Secretary has mentioned that coronavirus can spread through droplets emitted from the infected patient during coughing or sneezing.

Captain Retired Muhammad Usman has directed people to wash hands immediately after touching frequently used chairs, tables, doorknobs, audio-video equipment, and devices.

He has also directed not to touch anything without a purpose. Wash hands for 40 seconds after touching anything.

Furthermore, he warned that people will not be allowed to enter without masks.

Apart from that, he assured that the provision of hand sanitizers and masks will be guaranteed to the customers and staff according to the necessity. On the other hand, the secretary said that 40% of people of the total capacity will be allowed to enter.

The social distance of 6 ft will be made mandatory. Mr. Usman said that people will not be allowed to shake hands, open theatres will be preferred on indoor theatres. Moreover, he directed people to buy online tickets instead of buying directly.

The duration of any event will not be more than 3 hours.
