Ahead of Benazir Bhutto’s 13th death anniversary on Sunday (tomorrow), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto asked his party activists to get themselves ready for a “big movement”.

Addressing a ceremony held in connection with Benazir Bhutto’s 13th death anniversary, Bilawal said that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) launched its campaign in line with the vision of his assassinated mother.

“Our struggle will continue until the completion of the mission of Benazir Bhutto,” he added.

The PPP chairman said that her mother struggled for women’s empowerment and for the rights of the people. PPP rendered unmatched sacrifices for democracy and rule of law in the country, he added.

Bilawal Bhutto said that evil forces had assassinated Benazir Bhutto under a conspiracy. On the occasion, the PPP chairman paid rich tribute to Benazir Bhutto.

On the other hand, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman has declined the invitation to attend the rally on Benazir Bhutto’s death anniversary.

He declined the request despite PPP Co-Chairman and former President Asif Ali Zardari’s call to PDM head Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

According to the details, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has reached Naudero House to attend the death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto.

A five-member JUI-F delegation will attend the rally in place of Maulana Fazlur Rehman. The JUI-F delegation will participate in the rally as per the order given by PDM, sources said.

Sources also said that Maryam Nawaz will hold a meeting with Bilawal at Naudero House and also attend the December 27 rally at Bilawal’s invitation.
