Oppo is preparing to launch the standard version of its “K15” smartphone in China on July 24, by following the K15 Pro lineup that debuted in April, with the phone’s design, specs, and color options.
Like the K15 Pro and Pro+, the standard K15 will include a built in cooling fan. The device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 super chipset, a step down from the chip used in the Pro models, and includes a 4,950mm² vapor chamber to help manage heat.
The phone features a 6.59 inch AMOLED display with a 2760 x 1256 resolution, supplied by Tianma. It’s powered by an 8,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. The device measures 8.27mm thick, weighs 205 grams, and includes a metal middle frame.
On the back, the K15 features a dual camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The camera module also includes an RGB ring light. Up front, the phone houses a 50MP selfie camera. Oppo has also confirmed the device carries an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
The OPPO K15 will launch on July 24th in China.

Additional hardware includes a short focus optical fingerprint sensor and support for dual frequency GPS along with triple frequency BeiDou navigation, in addition to standard Glonass and Galileo satellite support.
The decision may also reflect broader cost pressures across the industry, including ongoing memory chip shortages and rising component prices, which have pushed manufacturers toward more affordable processors while keeping premium feeling extras.
The Oppo K15 is available for preorder through Oppo’s official online store in China, as well as on JD.com, though pricing has not yet been announced. The phone will offered in a single 12GB/256GB configuration.
