Blast in Balochistan’s Panjgur District Kills 2, Injures 7
Two people were killed and seven others were injured in a blast in Panjgur district of Balochistan.
According to police sources, the blast occurred during a football match at a local ground, which also damaged nearby vehicles.
The blast killed two people and injured seven, sources said.
Police and other law enforcement teams rushed to the scene after the blast.
The nature of the blast was not immediately known.
It should be noted that Balochistan has been suffering from unrest for some time now, which is also said to be the hand of external enemies.
A blast in the provincial capital Quetta on October 25 killed two people and injured 10 others.
Police sources said the explosives were planted in the motorcycle.
Earlier on October 14, a grenade attack on Smangali Road in Quetta injured seven people.
Unidentified miscreants hurled a hand grenade at workers in the area, injuring seven civilians, including two children, police said.
In August, a blast on the Mall Road in the Chaman area of Balochistan Province killed five people and injured 14.
The police officer said that unknown miscreants had planted an explosive device in a motorbike parked on the side of the road which exploded.
