Education Minister Punjab Murad Raas on Monday announced that all Schools will be shut down completely after Friday this week.

According to the details, the announcement was by the Minister on Twitter. Murad Raas said that all public and private schools are only allowed to take examinations till Friday 19th March 2021.

He said that after Friday all Schools will be shut down completely. The Minister also advised the schools to adjust schedules accordingly.

In addition to this, Murad Raas warned that any schools found to be violating the orders of the government will be sealed immediately.

All Public & Private schools are only allowed to take examinations (Send Ups & Entry Exams) till Friday 19th March, 2021. After Friday all Schools will be shut down completely. Please adjust your schedules accordingly. Anyone in violation will be sealed.

On the other hand, due to rising number of coronavirus infections, the government of Punjab has decided to impose smart lockdown in more places of the province.

The smart lockdown will be imposed in the 13 areas of Lahore, 6 areas of Sialkot and 15 areas of Rawalpindi.

The areas of Lahore where lockdown will be implemented include Johar Town A Block, G Block, Wapda Town, Sabzazar E, H and L Block, Garden Town Tariq Block, Abu Bakar Block, Gulberg, Faisal Town B block.

Smart lockdown will also be implemented in Allama Iqbal Town Ravi Block, Karim Block, Mohani Road Bilal ganj area of ​​Lahore.

Moreover, smart lockdown will be imposed in Madani Masjid Sherkot Head Marala, Dhale Wali Marala Judicial Colony, and other areas.
