Eight opposition parties in the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) have decided to form a separate bloc in the Senate.

According to details, eight opposition parties will sit independently in the Senate. The parliamentary leaders of these parties will make the request to Chairman Senate.

Eight opposition parties have refused to recognize Yousuf Raza Gilani as Leader of the Opposition in consultation on future strategies.

During the meeting, the PPP and the ANP have been held responsible for damaging the common goals of the PDM.

Opposition parties in the meeting have decided to send show-cause notices to PPP and ANP.

It was agreed in the meeting that the matter of taking votes from BAP should be referred to the President PDM and the PDM chief should seek an explanation as to why both the parties violated the rules and decisions.

At the meeting, eight parties formed an opinion and said that the unanimous decisions of the PDM would have to be accepted by all parties.
