ISLAMABAD: For the fourth consecutive day Pakistan reported less than a 1,000 cases of the coronavirus, reported the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Tuesday.

Pakistan on Tuesday reported 603 fresh coronavirus cases out of 43,786 tests conducted during the last 24 hours, with a positivity ratio of 1.37 per cent, according to the NCOC, the department leading Pakistan’s campaign against the pandemic.

The data showed that in the last 24 hours 603 fresh coronavirus cases were reported in the country, taking the countrywide tally to 1,265,650. The nationwide positivity ratio stands at 1.38%.

The country’s nerve centre in the fight against coronavirus also shared that 20 more people lost their lives to COVID-19. The new deaths takes the countrywide tally to 28,300.
