Ali Xeeshan accused of plagiarism by IVS graduate

Ali Xeeshan was accused of plagiarism of sculpture designs by Ayesha Sheikh who is a graduate of Indus Valley School of Arts and Architecture graduate.

She claimed that Ali has copied her thesis show designs of 2019 in a recent exhibition of him in March 2022. The piece was known as ‘equisite mistake’.

Ayesha Sheikh soon after plagiarism took to Instagram and posted saying ‘I don’t know if I should be proud or infuriated that Ali Xeeshan has plagiarized my work’

When Ali Xeeshan caught wind of it, he denied all accusations and claims saying his ideas were preborn before Ayesha showcased her work. He also demanded that Ayesha apologize for false allegations.

Ali Xeeshan claimed that he had been working on this muse and ideas for quite a long time. It was back in 2016 when his work on how humans destroyed Mother Earth that he thought of this idea. He also said that Ayesha misunderstood and when he came to know about it, he immediately reached out to her but she didn’t respond. He claimed his work was different than Ayesha’s work on body shaming and body image.

According to him, his work is inspired by his late nanny who always was energetic and eccentric. She went away after being married and came back all exhausted and quiet from which he has gotten the idea of a person wearing out.

He also said that he had proofs after calling this incident a mere coincidence and that if Ayesha refused to handle ot maturely, he would consider a legal action against her.
