LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has extended the protective bail of Shahbaz Gill till February 6 for not submitting the records of the cases.

Lahore High Court Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh heard three times the petition against Shahbaz Gill’s possible arrest.

Despite the LHC order, the court expressed its anger on the additional federal interior secretary for not presenting the records of the cases. The court remarked that in the era of WhatsApp, all the information can be obtained in five minutes.

Justice Tariq Saleem said that consider the sanctity of the position adding that the court has to resume the hearing after every hour due to this behavior.

The court extended Shahbaz Gill’s protective bail till February 6 while seeking all the details of the cases.

Speaking to the media after the hearing, PTI leader Shahbaz Gill said that the government that came into power by foreign conspiracy will definitely follow the instructions by foreign powers. He said it has been crucial that a public government must be formed so the state can express the feelings of the people.

The leader of PTI said that Fawad Chaudhry was targeted for political revenge, these are political arrests and PTI will fight in the courts.
