GUJRAT: Punjab Police conducted a raid at the house of former chief minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in the wee hours of Wednesday.

According to sources, a heavy contingent of Punjab Police has raided the residence of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi’s house in Gujrat.

In this regard, the eyewitnesses said that law enforcement agencies(LEA) have raided the residence of former federal minister Chaudhry Moonis Elahi and former chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.

A heavy contingent of police was present at the residence of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in Kunjah and dozens of vehicles and hundreds of personnel cordoned off the residence while police vehicles were patrolling around and outside the residence.

Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi while talking to Bol News has said that the Punjab government is taking revenge and full vindictive action is being taken against family members.

He said that “We will approach the court against the Punjab government’s action.”
