KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted rain today evening in Karachi, Bol News reported.

Heavy rain with thundershowers may occur in the city on Sunday evening. The suburbs of the city also witnessed heavy rain on March 18.

The raining system will leave the country tonight.

Then another series of westerly winds will move towards the country from March 22. By the first week of April, there will be sporadic systems in the country. Sea breezes are still suspended in the city.

The minimum temperature today was recorded at 20.8 degrees Celsius. A 60 percent humidity is recorded in the air.

Today’s maximum temperature is recorded at 35 degree Celsius.

On February 28, rain accompanied by fresh breezes had turned the weather pleasant in Lahore and its adjoining area.

The meteorological department had predicted more rain in the region during the next 24 hours.
The areas of the city which had received light rain or drizzle include Chaubarji, Jail Road, Kalma Chowk, Kot Lakhpat and Township.

The temperature in the city was recorded at 20 degree Celsius in the morning. Light rain and drizzle had also improved the city’s air quality index, with Lahore standing fourth in the world’s most polluted cities – three points better than where it was the day before.

Meanwhile, it also had rained in various cities of Punjab province including Sheikhupura, Muridke, Kandian, Sangla Hill, Kamalia, Kala Shah Kaku, Farooqabad and their adjoining areas.
