According to astronomy expert Ibrahim Al Jarwan, it is anticipated that Ramadan in Saudi Arabia will commence on March 11, 2024.
In his role as Chairman of the Board of the Emirates Astronomy Society, Ibrahim Al Jarwan utilized astronomical calculations to make the prediction.
This suggests that the holy month is anticipated to commence either on March 11 or March 12 in Pakistan.
Moreover, the head of the Emirates Astronomy Society Board highlighted a noteworthy shift: the conclusion of winters in Saudi Arabia is projected to be on March 20. This implies that Ramadan will coincide with the winter season for the first time in 26 years, and this pattern is expected to persist until 2031.
In Ramadan, individuals observe daily fasts from sunrise to sunset, and the duration varies globally. This year in Saudi Arabia, each fasting day (roza) is expected to span from 13 to 15 hours.
As Ramadan is set to commence on March 11, Eid-ul-Fitar is expected to be observed on either April 10 or 11.
