Peshawar: The first meeting of the newly elected members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly was convened today.

The meeting will be chaired by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) nominated Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur, the meeting will be held at Speaker House Peshawar at 2 p.m.

However, all the newly elected members of the assembly have been instructed to attend the meeting.

In the meeting, government formation and other important issues will be discussed.

It should be noted that the CM nominee of PTI has been present in Peshawar for the past several days.

Earlier, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has decided to form a government in Balochistan together with its allies, Bol News reported.

The newly elected members of the Provincial Assembly of the PPP from Bolochistan held a meeting at the residence of Sarfraz Bugti in Islamabad.

In the meeting, the newly Member of Balochistan Assembly Sadiq Imrani said that the people have given us the majority, so it is our right to form the government.

Sadiq Imrani further added that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) will join our alliance in Balochistan, the party leadership that will be nominated by the Chief Minister will be accepted by all of us.
