Pakistan Railways Unveils Eid-ul-Fitr Special Trains Schedule

The Pakistan Railways will operate four special trains to facilitate passengers on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.

As per the schedule issued on Monday, the first special train will depart from Karachi to Peshawar at 6 am and the second one rom Quetta to Rawalpindi at 10 am on April 7. The third special train will depart from Karachi Cantt to Lahore at 9 pm on April 8. The fourth and last special train will depart from Lahore to Karachi at 5 pm on April 9 to facilitate passengers to return home after celebrating Eid with their near and dear ones.

Pakistan Railways runs special Eid trains every year to facilitate passengers heading to or coming from Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Rawalpindi and Quetta.

Huge population, majority of those working in other cities, travel to hometowns before Eid and return back to workplaces after holidays on these special trains. The Railways high-ups have directed making necessary arrangements to give maximum benefits to passengers on these Eid special trains.
