Karachi: Sindh Governor Nehal Hashmi affirmed his commitment to ensuring that every district and village in Sindh receives its rightful representation, describing it as a core responsibility of his office.

Addressing the media at a press conference in Karachi, Hashmi underscored that Governor House embodies the identity of the entire province and pledged that it would remain accessible and accountable to the public.

Reflecting on Pakistan’s founding, he remarked that the nation owes its existence to the visionary efforts of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

He lauded former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for consistently advocating constructive policies, adding that while leaders may face incarceration, the nation’s interests must remain inviolable.

Hashmi further urged the media and citizens to refrain from projecting negative narratives about Karachi, emphasizing the critical distinction between genuine reporting and propaganda.

In a significant announcement, the Governor declared a comprehensive audit of Governor House’s budget, committing to full transparency regarding allocations, expenditures, and financial practices.

Hashmi also stated that he welcomes constructive criticism and intends to introduce the Prime Minister Youth Program at Governor House. Additionally, he confirmed that sahri and iftar ceremonies will be hosted for the public during Ramadan, reinforcing the Governor House’s role as a community-centered institution.

Highlighting future initiatives, he vowed to revitalize the IT Market and ensure that all activities within Governor House reflect Sindh’s cultural and traditional heritage. He stressed that Governor House belongs to the people, not any individual, and clarified that he serves as a caretaker and political steward.

Concluding his address, Governor Hashmi asserted that he is a political worker, not a social media entertainer, and reiterated that leaders and military officials across the globe continue to recognize and respect Pakistan’s governance and institutional framework.
