ISLAMABAD: A judicial magistrate has approved a two-day physical remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Hassaan Niazi.

Pertinently, Islamabad Police on Monday arrested Hassaan Niazi from outside G-11 courts in Islamabad.

Counsel Naeem Haider Panjotha said Hassaan Niazi came out of the court with him adding that he told police that the PTI leader had been bailed, yet Superintendent Police Nosherwan forcibly took Niazi away with him in the vehicle to Ramna police station.

On the other hand, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cybercrime has launched an inquiry into the case pertaining to a tweet of PTI Focal Person on Legal Affairs Hassaan Niazi.

Sources said the FIA has decided to send a notice to the nephew of PTI Chairman Imran Khan over his tweet with a picture of a judge. The investigation agency has reportedly obtained details of Hassaan Niazi’s Twitter account as well.
