The former anchor of Good Morning Britain Piers Morgan responded to the ‘completely deluded’ Prince Andrew car-crash interview.
The outspoken journalist commented on Twitter after sharing the Daily Mail article headed “The real inside story behind Andrew’s car crash TV interview,” saying it was “fascinating to read.. astonishing to see how absolutely deluded Andrew was about how the interview had gone.”
Fascinating read.. incredible to see how totally deluded Andrew was about how the interview had gone. Congrats @SamMcAlister1 – so interesting to peek behind the royal curtains on stuff like this. 👏👏 https://t.co/OLIBb1rDQi

With two clapping hands emoticons and the words “Congrats @SamMcAlister1 – so interesting to look behind the royal curtains on something like this,” he also praised royal expert Sam McAlister for the news item.
According to Daily Mail, Andrew, who settled his lawsuit with his accuser Virginia Giuffre earlier this year, sat down with Newsnight on November 14, 2019, for an interview in an effort to disassociate himself from his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, who had passed away in custody four months earlier. Andrew believed that this interview would clear his name.
In his article published in the Daily Mail on Friday, Sam McAlister provided the complete inside scoop of Andrew’s car crash TV interview.
On the other hand, he is unaware that his dreadful Newsnight interview in 2019 didn’t go well because he appeared to be “ebullient,” reports.
In her book Scoops: Behind The Scenes Of The BBC’s Most Shocking Interviews, Sam McAlister, the interview’s organiser, just revealed agonising details of the prince’s interview.
The excerpt states, “I couldn’t look at anyone. I could hardly believe his team had allowed the interview to continue. I would have done it regardless of the repercussions.
