Pakistani actors Mohsin Abbas Haider and Omair Rana, renowned for their roles in hit dramas, recently shared their deeply personal experiences of losing their newborn children. Haider, known for his work in Siyani and Meri Guriya, and Rana, celebrated for Pyar Ke Sadqay and Ishq Murshid, both faced tragic losses in their lives.

On a recent morning show appearance, both actors opened up about their grief. Mohsin Abbas Haider revealed the heart-wrenching story of his daughter Veenu, who passed away just a month after her birth. Similarly, Omair Rana spoke about the loss of his twin babies, which left a significant impact on his life.

Their candid discussion sheds light on the emotional challenges they faced and highlights their resilience in coping with such profound personal tragedies.

Talking about his daughter Veenu, Mohsin Abbas Haider said, “I was so excited when I became a father. I remember getting the news in Karachi while I was shooting for a drama. The director, Ali Hassan, was my friend, and we were both so excited. I just packed my bag and went to my city to see my daughter. It was a surreal moment, and for the first time in my life, I understood what real happiness felt like. I remember writing, ‘Today I have found the true purpose of my life.’ When I finally saw her, I couldn’t believe it; I was overwhelmed with happiness. But then, she passed away. After her passing, I thought, perhaps Allah needed her more.”

Speaking about losing twin babies, Omair Rana said, “I didn’t know this would happen. Ironically, I was avoiding my twins after they passed away because I had to bury them myself—it was the toughest experience. I pray that no one ever goes through such a loss, but then I thought, we will definitely reunite in Jannat. Recently, their nana passed away, and me and Maira were quite peaceful because we instantly believed that they ( my twins) are with their grandfather now.”

He also recounted the moment when he buried his twins, recalling that one of their toes was visible from the coffin, which he adjusted. That memory continues to stay with him.
