The International Cricket Council (ICC) extends wishes to Pakistan’s female cricketer Syeda Nain Abidi on her birthday.

ICC in a tweet wrote, “87 ODIs, 68 T20Is, 2,597 international runs and First woman to score an ODI century. Happy Birthday Nain Abidi.”

Nain Abidi emerged onto the international scene in 2006. However, she played 155 international fixtures in which she scored 2,597 runs before bidding farewell to all forms of the game in 2018.

She is the first Pakistan batswoman to have scored a century in the 50-over game. Moreover, Abidi was a gold medal winner for the country 2010 Asian Games.
