The government of New Zealand has given the nod for the Pakistan and West Indies teams to tour the country later this year and in early 2021.

According to the details, New Zealand Cricket (NZC) said on Friday that it will host fixtures against Pakistan and West Indies later this year.

NZC said in a statement that “New Zealand Cricket has received government approval to proceed with plans to host international touring sides this summer … beginning with the West Indies and Pakistan’s men’s teams in November, December, and January,”

“A press conference to announce the details of the upcoming summer’s international … schedule will be held early next week.”

The NZC official stated that it will cover the quarantine and flight costs of the visiting teams.

Earlier The Government of Zimbabwe also allowed its national team to play a limited over series against Pakistan scheduled in October.

The teams will play three One-Day Internationals between Oct. 30 and Nov. 3, and another three Twenty20 International fixtures that have been scheduled in for Nov. 7-10.

The news was announced by the ZC on their official Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon.

As per the schedule, the team is set to arrive in Pakistan on October 20.

The ODI series will be part of the inaugural ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.
