PSL 2021: Faf du Plessis lands in Karachi to Join Quetta Gladiators
South African cricketer Faf du Plessis has arrived to Karachi to play the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021.
According to the details, Faf du Plessis will join his team Quetta Gladiators and replace Chris Gayle who left the tournament today for West Indies series against Sri Lanka.
Chris Gayle scored 39 and 68 for Quetta Gladiators in his two games against Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars respectively, both in a losing cause before leaving his PSL side for national duties.
Earlier today, Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan also left for the Test series against Zimbabwe.
The cricketer took to his Twitter and announced that he is leaving the tournament to attend the national duty.
He also thanked his fans for the support and hoped to join the league again next year.
On the other hand, Multan Sultans will take on Peshawar Zalmi in the 5th match of Pakistan Super League at National Stadium in Karachi. Both teams will seek their first win in the ongoing edition of Pakistan Super League, when they clash against each other in match number 5.
