Real Madrid crowned UCL 2022 winners

The historic Eifel tower lights up with the Real Madrid flag as they beat the mighty Liverpool in UEFA Champions League (UCL) Final.

Real Madrid’s journey for this UCL final was skeptical as they managed to win against big teams back to back in the Knockout stages.

Karim Benzema, the top scorer of this year’s UCL campaign played a crucial role in the advancement of Madrid in big stages. Noone expected the Royal Whites to beat the mighty giants of England (Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool); and Paris Saint Germain (PSG). he is the favorite to win this year’s Ballon Dór.

As if he was improving with every shot on target. It is believed that Thibaut Courtois played the best game ever in UCL final history by a goalkeeper.

Liverpool played fantastically till the first half. Their only problem was the strong hands of Thibaut Courtois who was denying them in every dimension. Luiz Diaz was so quick with his feet made vital balls for Sadio mane and Mo Salah, but luck was not on their side. Jergen Klopp reminded the reporter that the next final venue is Istanbul, and they are ready to go for it.

Liverpool had more than ten shots on target, but it was one cross from Fede Valverde that found Vinicius Junior, who placed the ball in the net for the first time in 59 minutes. Vini Junior was the youngest player after Messi to score in a UCL final. He is just 21 at the moment and extremely talented.

Madrid’s captain Marcelo de Vierra confirmed with tears that this was his last game for Real Madrid. He joined Madrid in 2007 and since then, he has won 25 trophies with the club. He stayed loyal to Los Blancos and played a crucial role in the achievements of Real Madrid.

“It was my last game with real Madrid. It has been a huge emotion. It is my last game, and to finish like this is an immense joy. It’s not a day of sadness because I’m leaving.” he told the media with sorrow.

Carvajal also gave Monsterous performance. He reminded the performances of his last three Champions League finals.
