The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took a while to award Haris Rauf the No Objection Certificate (NOC), but on Sunday, he was able to play for the Melbourne Stars in the 13th season of the Big Bash League (BBL).

Melbourne Starts announced, “Look who’s here,” on X, the former Twitter platform.

The 30-year-old fast bowler, along with other members of the squad like Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell, attended the family day in Melbourne.

Usama Mir, a spinner from Pakistan, is already with the Melbourne Stars. The team also includes Imad Wasim, although he hasn’t gone on any trips yet.

The 30-year-old was rumored to not receive the NoC since he declined to participate in the three-match Test series against Australia.

Following Chief Selector Wahab Raiz’s announcement that Haris had chosen to cancel the Australia tour, he has been under intense fire from all quarters.

Wahab made clear that Haris was worried about whether taking part in the trip would cause him to lose fitness.

“We have tried facilitating him in every way. Even if he failed in this tour, I was ready to accept it. Our fitness consultant told us that he [Rauf] would not have any issues moving forward.”

“We could have managed the issues […] but he pulled out at the last moment. I believe this will be a set back to Pakistan,” the chief selector explained

A special and exciting experience for cricket fans is promised at the Melbourne Stars’ newly named “Pakistan Bay” allocated seating section, which is located on level 1 of the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

“House of Rauf” is an exclusive membership for BBL 13, offering fans an unmatched fan experience and the opportunity to watch the thrilling action live from “Pakistan Bay.”

Pakistan Bay and the House of Rauf membership are two ways that the Melbourne Stars and the MCG hope to give supporters an unforgettable experience.
