Former Pakistani skipper Shoaib Malik has achieved another milestone in his T20 career.
The right-hand batter amassed 1,000 fours and became the only Pakistani cricketer to do so in T20.
During the ongoing National T20 Cup at the National Bank Cricket Academy in Karachi, the 41-year-old cricketer scored 84 runs from just 56 balls, which included six fours and four maximums. This stint today helped him achieve the milestone.
By completing 1000 fours in 482 innings, he became the eighth player in the world to achieve this feat.
Malik also achieved another feat, as he completed his 400 sixes in his T20 career and became the first Pakistani to do so.
Malik is the second cricketer after Chris Gayle, who has scored 12,000 runs in his short-format career.
